Steps to join the 21 Day challenge in STRAVA APP

  • Step 1: Navigate to the "Nanban 5K - 21 Days Challenge - Join Club" within the "5K-21 Days Challenge Registration Section." You can access the Strava app link at either of the following URLs: https://www.strava.com/clubs/1166522 or https://www.strava.com/clubs/nanban21days.
  • Step 2: Click the "Join Club" button to become a member of the 5K-21 Days Challenge Club.
  • Step 3: Provide your registered email ID and password to sign in to the page.
  • Step 4: Enter your First Name, Last Name, Birthday, and select your Gender on the page to create your Strava profile. Then, click the "Continue" button.
  • Step 5: If you encounter a "Connect with Facebook" pop-up page, you can choose to click the "Skip for Now" option.
  • Step 6: When presented with the "Can we keep you in the loop?" pop-up page, click the "Yes, Please!" button.
  • Step 7: On the next pop-up page titled "The First One’s On Us," click the "Maybe Later" button.

  • Step 13: Log in to your Strava Mobile App on your mobile device.
  • Step 14: From the Home page, navigate to "Getting Started" and click "Record using this app."
  • Step 15: You'll encounter the "Allow Location Access" page. Click the "Allow" button to grant Strava access to your device's location.
  • Step 16: You'll be directed to the Run page. Click the "START" button to begin your run.
  • Step 17: Once your run is completed, click the "Stop" button, and then click "FINISH" to conclude your run for the day. Use the "RESUME" button if you wish to continue your run on another day.
  • Step 18: Your time and distance covered details will be captured by the app.
  • Step 19: The Strava app will prompt you with questions about the type of run, how the activity felt, and who can see your activity (it's recommended to select "everyone"). Answer these questions to complete your record.
  • Step 20: Click the "Save" option to save all your recorded activities.
  • Step 21: You've now successfully recorded all your runs/walks, and they will be displayed within the club.

Nanban means a true friend. True to its meaning, Nanban foundation is established with the sole vision of helping the community at large attain financial freedom through our free financial education classes and supporting the underprivileged through socially relevant initiatives.

Nanban believes that no one should go hungry. True to its belief, Nanbans Zero Hunger Initiative runs two continents and three countries. Through our various projects we feed approximately 12,000 daily meals and benefiting 8,000+ individuals in U.S.A., Srilanka and India.

  • The primary aim is to raise awareness about global hunger while raising vital funds for Nanban’s life-saving programs around the world.
  • Walkers, Runners, Strollers, Pets---all are welcome.
  • Competitive or recreational participants can complete this outdoor 5K.

Do's and Don'ts

  • Keep safety in mind always anytime and keep your distance if needed.
  • Make sure you have your running or walking shoes and any other gear you need to participate in this 5K. We will provide limited snacks and bottled water for all participants.
  • Do not disturb any public during this time, as this park is always open to the public.
  • Parents always run with their younger kids, watch over them all the time, and are responsible.
  • Participants are responsible for any liability or injury during the event.
  • It's a family fun event; hence request everyone to help to keep the park neat and clean.
  • Participants can always reach out to volunteers during the event for any help.
