Hello Nanbans ! My name is Murali Rajagopalan and I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan from West Michigan Tamil Sangam. I am here to talk about Nanban Foundations and my personal experiences with the whole Cash Flow Strategy and how it has helped me immensely to understand the Options Trading Market and what I learnt from the awesome volunteers and my overall experiences in the last 7 or 8 months that I have been involved in. Like many folks that are listening to this call, I have been not exposed much to Options Trading. I have always been a very careful saver of the money, invested in all mutual funds and stocks but never invested in options trading.
Purely for the fear of the unknown and the ignorance of being not knowing the terms like calls and puts and what does it mean and all those things kept me away from options trading market. But one fine day I got a great call from a my good friend and a volunteer Ram Srinivasan and he and bunch of other volunteers who have been already in Grand Rapids doing a nice job of spreading the message spreading the awesome service that Naban Foundation is doing to participate in a seminar or an educational opportunity. So like many folks who are listening here and who did the course, I have slight doubt like what is this about and what’s the catch and everything. So, they repeatedly confirmed that there is no catch, that is nothing beneficial to anybody but it’s just a pure knowledge sharing. So, I definitely attended those classes and it’s mind blowing, how awesome a job, people like GK, Sarji, Ragu, Kathya, Ram and many such folks repeatedly helped me understand the foundations of options trading and the more importantly how GK options strategies Level 1 and Level 2 work and how they have meticulously calculated formulae and other things that would help me, people like me who are totally not that well versed with options trading to get into options trading market confidently. So, and the beauty of this initiative is it didn’t stop just on those two weekends where they through some slide decks and then walked us through the strategies. I have seen many such strategies in YouTube another places where it takes you to certain level and then unless you have somebody sitting next to you, helping you or even pushing you to get into options trading, you would never do that. But, the greatness of this course is right after those two weekend training, there are lot of demo sessions by Ragu and Sarji and many folks who helped meticulously to show which button to click, what options to choose, how to get into a think or swim platform right from the installation steps and configuration steps. That kind of knowledge and the passion involvement is not easily found anywhere, to the best of my knowledge. That’s were dawned on me. Hey this is Nanban Foundation, what is Nanban stands for. Nanban in Tamil stands for friends, Nanbans are friends. And that immediately stuck my head like I am teaching Tamil as a language in West Michigan, I run a school called West Michigan Tamil Sangam along with couple of other folks. It dawned on me a Thirukkural, a 2000 year old a poem by a great poet called Thiruvalluvar. The poem, let me read it in Tamil and then I will give a brief example of, brief meaning of what it is. “Udukkai Izhandhavan Kai Poala, Aangaey Idukkan Kalivadhaam Natpu”. So what it really means is, so if you have, if you are stuck in a very desperate situation. When somebody shows up and helps you and get you out of the trouble, they are your true friends. We have had many friend right ? we all of us have at least one or more than one friends who have been categorized there, right ?. But you very rarely you will find somebody like this Nanban volunteer group and Nanban foundation where they randomly show up and then they genuinely help you and then they desperately want you to be successful on your own money. They don’t take a penny, there is nothing that they expect other than just sharing that knowledge and in return all they are expecting is, hey, why can’t you spread the message, this is awesome message, why don’t you spread the message and it is a beautiful example of that great Thirukkural, I wanna repeat one more time, “Udukkai Izhandhavan Kai Poala, Aangaey Idukkan Kalivadhaam Natpu”. So I really want to appreciate and thank every volunteer, even the names that I have not mentioned there are probably at least another 200 more volunteers there doing lot of different awesome stuff. This is a very rare opportunity for people like me, many, many of the folks like me who are not ready to venture into new financial investments and planning and stuff like that. I strongly encourage if you have not been part of those trainings, take those trainings, at least know what it is. If it’s still not appealing to you, that’s fine fantastic, at least now you know what is Cash Flow Strategy, now you know options trading, then you consciously make a..
