Nanban foundation

https://nanbanfoundation.org/ is a non-profit organization based out of Dallas TX.

Nanban means a true friend. True to its meaning, Nanban foundation is established with the sole vision of helping the community at large attain financial freedom through our free financial education classes and supporting the underprivileged through socially relevant initiatives.

Nanban believes that no one should go hungry. True to its belief, Nanbans Zero Hunger Initiative runs two continents and three countries. Through our various projects we feed approximately 12,000 daily meals and benefiting 8,000+ individuals in U.S.A., Srilanka and India.

Race Description

Walkers, Runners, Strollers, Pets---all are welcome. Competitive or recreational participants can complete this outdoor 5K. The primary aim is to raise awareness about global hunger while raising vital funds for Nanban’s life-saving programs around the world.

Do's and Don'ts

  • Keep safety in mind always anytime and keep your distance if needed.
  • Make sure you have your running or walking shoes and any other gear you need to participate in this 5K. We will provide limited snacks and bottled water for all participants.
  • Do not disturb any public during this time, as this park is always open to the public.
  • Parents always run with their younger kids, watch over them all the time, and are responsible.
  • Participants are responsible for any liability or injury during the event.
  • It's a family fun event; hence request everyone to help to keep the park neat and clean.
  • Participants can always reach out to volunteers during the event for any help.
