Scope of this Privacy Policy

This policy applies to information we collect:

• On this Site (https://nanbanfoundation.org/) and any related pages or subdomains. 
• In email, text and other electronic messages between you and the Site.

This policy does not apply to information collected:

• By Nanban offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by any third party; 
• By Nanban that is subject to our additional privacy policy; or
• By any third party, including through any application or content that may link to or be accessible from or on our Site.

Collection of Information

General Website Visitors

In the course of using this Site, Nanban may ask you for certain information, including, but not limited to, your name, email address, postal address and telephone number (home and work) (any of which is “personal information”). The types of personal information we collect depend on the nature of your interaction with us. Generally, you can visit our Site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself; however, you must provide personal information in order to receive communications, make inquiries to Nanban, or otherwise interact with the Site.

Nanban may also collect non-personal information when you visit our Site, including but not limited to the type of Internet browser you are using, the type of operating system you are using, device information, the domain name of your Internet service provider, aggregate data about the number of visits to the Site and aggregate data about the pages visited, but in doing so, we do not connect this information with your personal information such as your name or email address.

Subscribers (Members)

When you subscribe to Nanban’s services we also may ask you for additional information to complete the transaction and register you for our services, such information may include without limitation your name, mailing and billing address, zip code, phone number, email address, financial and investment data, and credit card information (donation).

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Like most website operators, Nanban, its affiliated companies and business partners use cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the website, track users’ movements around the website, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole (“Cookies”). Opt-Out: Nanban offers Site visitors a means to choose how we use the information provided. Nevertheless, such security measures may not prevent all loss, misuse or alteration of information on the Site, and Nanban is not responsible for any damages or liabilities relating to any such security failures.
